Mahindra Bolero Power+ special edition has been launched for Rs 9.08 lakh with cosmetic updates

India’s largest utility vehicle manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the new Power+ special edition of its highest selling SUV, the Bolero. Mahindra Bolero Power+ Special Edition comes with special edition decals, seat covers, carpet mats, scuff plate set, steering wheel cover on the interior. Fog lamps on the front bumper, spoiler with stop lamp are special features on the outside.

The instrument cluster is a fully digital unit that displays all the common information to the driver. Driver side airbag, ABS, rear parking sensors, speed warning system, seatbelt reminder are some safety features that now comes in the UV as standard equipment.

Mahindra Bolero is the most loved SUV in India as it is sold more than 6000 units per month on average. It is because the SUV is rugged and has the capability to go anywhere in the country. It is mostly sold in the rural areas as well as tier 3 cities. The SUV is used as people carrier in most parts of the country. Not only the Bolero is used by civilians, but the rugged SUV is being used by various armed forces groups as well as para-military security forces for many years.

Recently Mahindra updated the Bolero with Airbags, ABS, and EBD to comply with safety norms in cars. The Bolero now meets crash norms which are enforced from 1st October 2019. These crash tests comprise of a full-frontal crash, offset frontal crash as well as side-impact test.

Mahindra Bolero Power+ is powered by a 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder diesel engine. This powerplant develops 70bhp and 195Nm torque and is BS4 compliant. The BS6 version of the engine will go on sale in the early months of the year 2020. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Speaking about the price, the new Special Edition Bolero Power+ launched at Rs 9.08 lakh ex-showroom.
