Tata Tiago XZ+ leaked online ahead of imminent launch

Tata Tiago XZ+ sports 15-inch alloy wheels, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and new Etna Orange paint scheme

Tata Motors has been working on the new top-spec variant of its widely popular hatchback, Tata Tiago. Christened as Tata Tiago XZ+, the hatchback has been leaked online giving us a clear view. Based on the Tiago XZ, the XZ+ trim gets projector headlamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system etc. Also, this new top-spec trim of Tata Tiago gets Etna Orange paint shade as well.

While the all-new Tata Tiago XZ+ boasts some feature and styling updates, mechanically it remains same. The Tiago XZ+ comes with a slightly updated front grille. Its Etna Orange colour shade is taken from the Tata Nexon. The projector headlamp is same as Tata Tigor. Inside the cabin, Tata Tiago XZ+’s 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car, Android Auto is sourced from Tata Tigor.

Apart from the above-mentioned features, there will be climate control and power-adjustable wing mirrors. Mechanically, the upcoming Tata Tiago XZ+ will come with the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.05-Revotorq diesel engines. A 5-speed manual gearbox will be there for transmission duty, while an AMT could be on offer as well. The hatchback could be priced at around Rs 5.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In that case, it will throw a tough challenge to the newly launched Hyundai Santro Asta.

Tata Motors is pretty successful with its new range of cars like Tiago, Tigor, Hexa, Nexon etc. A fresh and stylish Impact design language, upmarket features, the new set of efficient powertrains altogether have played a key role in making these models appealing.

Just a few days ago, the brand has also launched performance-focused versions of Tiago and Tigor. A Nexon JTP is also on the card, while the brand is currently emphasizing on the upcoming premium SUV Tata Harrier. Meanwhile, adding this new trim to the Tiago lineup will certainly boost the appeal of the stylish hatchback.
