Tata Altroz will get two petrol and one diesel engine paired to manual and automatic transmission
Indian car manufacturer, Tata Motors is all set to unveil its premium hatchback car in the country on 3rd December 2019. The event will take place in the Jaisalmer, Rajasthan where the new Tata Altroz will be given for quick rides to the media. As bookings are concerned, Altroz can be booked for a token amount of Rs 21,000 from 4th December in all the Tata Motors showrooms across the country.
Tata Altroz will get two petrol engine as well as one diesel engine option. All the engines will be BS6 compliant. Among them will be detuned 100bhp turbo-petrol engine from the Nexon to give oomph to the premium hatchback.
However, the price of the car will be revealed in January 2020 before the commencement of deliveries. The Altroz must be priced aggressively to tackle the segment leaders like Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20.
All in all, the event will focus on the new technology used in the car as well as the variant wise feature list. What we know at present is the Altroz is built on the tata’s ALFA platform and the interiors of the car will be upmarket with semi-digital instrument cluster and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
