2018 Ford Aspire facelift gets new front fascia, additional features and a new petrol engine.
2018 Ford Aspire facelift has been confirmed for launch in India on October 4, right ahead of festive season. The 2018 Ford Aspire comes with significant design changes, some additional features and an all-new petrol engine from Dragon series. Apart from the above mentioned changes, the sedan is likely to be available in new colour options as well. As it appears, the Ford Aspire facelift takes inspiration from the 2018 Ford KA+.

Speaking about the design changes, the 2018 Ford Aspire facelift gets completely new chrome garnished front grille flanked by new design headlamps. Also, there is a muscular new bumper with sculpted fog lamp enclosures featuring chrome trims and neatly positioned fog lamps. Moving to the side profile, there are new design alloy wheels, Rear of the sedan sports restyled taillights, a chrome finished bar connecting the tail lamps and a revised bumper as well.
The 2018 Ford Aspire facelift has been updated inside the cabin as well. It gets new dashboard design with more layered appearance. There is a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system at centre console, just like the Ford Freestyle crossover. Space will remain same as the current model. However, thanks to the new design and features it will look more premium.

On the powertrain front, biggest change will come in form of a new Dragon series petrol engine. The India-spec 2018 Ford Aspire facelift will use a 1.2-litre unit that also works under the hood of Freestyle. This engine is capable of churning out 94 bhp of peak power and 215 Nm of peak torque. Also, there will be a diesel motor as well. Expect the upcoming sedan to be priced bit premium over the current model.
