New Ford Aspire in flesh looks appealing – Spyshots

New Ford Aspire comes carrying design updates inside out along with new features and a new engine as well.

New Ford Aspire is ready to hit showrooms on October 4, 2018. The compact sedan has received several updates across exterior and inside the cabin, while addition of new features have increased its appeal further. New Ford Aspire also gets Dragon series petrol engine, which is more efficient compared to the current one. Meanwhile, right ahead of the launch, the car has been spied in flesh, without any camouflage.

New Ford Aspire gets a revised front grille in line with the brand’s contemporary models. The headlamps too have been updated and there is a more sculpted front bumper with neatly positioned fog lamps and black accent around them. Moving to side, the upcoming Aspire facelift gets new design alloy wheels, while the car gets an updated rear bumper as well. So far, the car has gone through minimal, but effective changes that made the new car pretty attractive.

Inside the cabin, upcoming Ford Aspire facelift gets a Ford Freestyle like vibe thanks to the dash-top standing SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A dual-tone dashboard and interior theme adds more appeal to the car. However, no major changes have been done inside the cabin in terms of styling. New Ford Aspire is already available for booking at an amount of Rs 11,000 across all the official dealerships.

For power, the new Aspire gets Freestyle sourced 1.2-litre Ti-VCT Dragon series petrol engine churns out 94 bhp of peak power and 140 Nm of peak torque. Apart from that, there will be an updated 1.5-litre diesel engine that kicks out 121 bhp of power and 150 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter unit as well. In terms of pricing, the upcoming Ford Aspire facelift will be slightly premium over the current model.
