Jeep Compass Black Pack Edition launched in India with a wide range of cosmetic updates over standard model.

Jeep Compass Black Edition has finally launched in India with a starting price tag of Rs 20.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in petrol AT and diesel manual options, the diesel variant of the SUV is available at a price tag of Rs 22.03 lakh (ex-showroom). The diesel variant comes with an optional 4×4 system. The Jeep Compass Black Pack Edition carries several cosmetic updates over the standard model.

Based on the top-spec trim Limited (O), the Jeep Compass Black Pack Edition comes featuring a stylish painted black roof, black ORVMs, 17-inch alloy wheels. It is available in a total of three exterior paint options that are – Vocal White, Minimal Grey and Magnesio Grey. The car looks absolutely eye-catching in this new Black Pack Edition avatar. Jeep Compass has been an already successful model from FCA in India and launching it here right ahead of upcoming festive season could boost sales of Compass.

Interior of the Jeep Compass Black Pack Edition dons a sporty all-black theme adding zing to the car. In terms of features, it gets a 7-inch U-Connect touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear armrests. On safety front, it gets reverser parking sensors and camera, ABS with EBD, Traction Control, ESC, Hill Start Assist etc. So far, the SUV comes loaded with all the features that are available in the current Jeep Compass top-spec trim Limited (O)

Speaking about power source options, the Jeep Compass Black Pack Edition is available with a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.0-litre motor. Power and torque output of these two engines are same as the standard model, as mechanically, the car remains same. Transmission duty in the petrol model is done by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, while the diesel engine gets as 6-speed manual unit.
