New-gen Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is available for booking at Rs 11,000 ahead of market launch on 21st November
New-gen Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is nearing towards its scheduled launch on November 21, 2018, and ahead of that, the automaker has commenced receiving bookings for the MPV at an amount of Rs 11,000. Meanwhile, several images have surfaced showing the car has arrived at the dealerships. The new Ertiga comes as a very appealing car from every angle thanks to the updated exterior and interior.
The first change you will notice on the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is the completely redesigned front fascia with sharper projector headlamps and a V shaped front grille with plenty of chrome garnishing. Also, the front bumper gets several black accents. Adding more zing to the MPV are the new large alloy wheels, subtle character lines at the side profile, updated taillight and a redesigned rear profile.
Moving inside the cabin, the car boasts a premium vibe thanks to the new dashboard, sporty flat-bottom steering wheel with faux wooden trim, a new touchscreen infotainment system. The seat and upholstery materials have been updated as well. The seven-seater MPV will offer generous space to the occupants ensuring a comfortable journey experience. It comes 130 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 5 mm taller compared to the outgoing model.
Mechanically, the new-gen Maruti Suzuki Ertiga gets a new K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine that is capable of kicking out 102 bhp of peak power and 138 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty will be done by a 5-speed manual gearbox and there will be a 4-speed automatic unit as well. Interestingly, this will come combined with the Suzuki SHVS micro-hybrid technology. The diesel engine is expected to remain the same as the current Ertiga.
