Moving inside the cabin of the new generation Mercedes-Benz CLS, the luxury sedan gets direct inspiration from the new S-Class and E-Class. There are dual 12.3-inch touchscreen display at the centre console and instrument cluster. Also, there are turbine-like air vents. The wood trims along with plush leather and high quality metal add zing. The new CLS comes with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), lane assist, speed limit assist, adaptive cruise control etc.

Speaking about the energy source of the new generation Mercedes-Benz CLS, it draws power from a 2.0-litre inline-4 turbocharged BS-VI emission compliant diesel engine that churns out 245 bhp of power and 500 Nm of torque output. Apart from this single diesel engine, no other powertrain option is available for the car in India. Interestingly, this is the same engine that works in the recently updated Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
