2019 Hyundai Elantra gets crispy sharp look and it would launch in India sometime next year.
Hyundai has finally taken the cover off new Elantra. The 2019 Hyundai Elantra looks crispy sharper compared to the outgoing model and it is expected to reach Indian shores sometime next year. The new Hyundai Elantra will throw tougher challenge to the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla Altis and Skoda Octavia. Hyundai has already received pretty good response with the current Elantra and the new model will certainly add more zing to the badge.
Speaking about the styling of 2019 Hyundai Elantra, it gets sharp delta shaped LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The headlamps blend well with the trapezoidal grille that gives the executive sedan a very strong and bold look. There is a muscular front bumper with perfectly placed delta shaped LED fog lamps. Moving to the side, the large and bold looking alloy wheels add zing, while the sharp character lines give the car a very distinctive and appealing stance. A perfectly sloping roofline is there blending nicely to the tail section.
There is a boot lip spoiler adding sportiness to the car. The taillights come with sharp LED inserts giving the sedan a very premium feel. Inside the cabin, an all-black theme is there adding sporty premiumness. It gets high-quality leather seat cover and upholstery, while the large touchscreen infotainment system with its ergonomic positioning, silver accents around places like dashboard, gearbox console beefs up the style quotient along with practicality.
Speaking about engines, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra will get same engines as the current model. The 2019 Hyundai Elantra will get a 2.0-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre diesel engine. Expect both the motors to generate same power and torque output. However, we can expect better fuel efficiency from them in the new model. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual unit and an automatic gearbox as well.
