Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift comes with revised front grille and bumpers along with new black interior and blue upholstery
Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2019 Baleno facelift at a starting price of Rs 5.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Pricing goes up to Rs 8.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This 2019 Maruti Baleno facelift has received a host of updates inside out that make it more attractive. However, not much difference is visible there compared to the previous one.
The Maruti Baleno facelift boasts a revised front grille, tweaked headlamps and an updated bumper. New Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets LED projector headlamps, a feature that was introduced first in the Maruti Suzuki Ignis. Its front bumper gets a splitter like an element. The new Maruti Baleno facelift also comes with an updated touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Studio, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. So far, the changes across the upcoming Maruti Baleno facelift are limited to cosmetic and features.
On the powertrain front, the 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno is same as the outgoing one. It comes with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. The petrol engine kicks out 83 bhp of peak power and 115 Nm of torque output. On the other hand, the diesel motor pumps out 74 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque output. A 5-speed manual gearbox and a CVT perform the transmission duty.
Like the outgoing Maruti Baleno, the facelift version too will be sold through Nexa retail network. Baleno has been one of the most successful cars from the Indo-Japanese automaker. With a much-awaited update, the premium hatchback comes adding more appeal.
