Maruti Suzuki XL6 bookings are now open for a token amount of Rs 11,000, will be sold through NEXA dealerships across the country

Nexa Experience youtube channel has released few videos highlighting premium features of upcoming Maruti Suzuki XL6. The latest premium car from India’s largest car manufacturer is going to be launched on 21st August. As XL6 is a premium offering from the company, the car will be sold through Maruti’s premium Nexa dealerships across the country.

From the name XL6 and recent captain seat teaser video, it is clear that new premium MPV will be a strict 6-seater car. So do not expect a 7 seat variant in XL6, maybe Maruti launched XL7 for the seven-seat variant of the same car. All the Nexa dealers have started accepting booking so the same for a token amount of Rs 11,000. We expect the deliveries to start soon after the launch on 21st August.

Speaking about the features, the XL6 will boast of everything Ertiga has plus even more premium segment features. The car has all black upmarket interiors to start with. Maruti Suzuki XL6 gets an upright nose with a flatter hood, along with a new highlighting trapezoidal grille design with twin chrome strips at the center both of which merges with the LED headlights.

The Ertiga-based car will derive power from the newly developed 1.5-liter petrol engine pumping out 104bhp and 138Nm torque. The car might get 4-speed automatic gearbox option too on the petrol option. When it comes to diesel power, the car will come with a 1.5-liter diesel engine. This new oil-burner makes 94bhp at 4000rpm and 225Nm torque at 1500-2500rpm.

Maruti will launch the XL6 in two variants as of now – Zeta and Alpha. The Zeta petrol XL6 is expected to carry price under Rs 10 lakh mark. Top-of-the-line Alpha diesel to go as high as Rs 12 lakh ex-showroom. XL6 will lock horns with Mahindra Marazzo price of which starts from Rs 10.35 lakh ex-showroom. However, Toyota Innova Crysta is also in the league of premium MPV but its price starts from Rs 14.93 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
