The 2019 Tata Hexa gets dual-tone body paint, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment; comes at around Rs 20,000 premium pricing over outgoing version

Tata Motors has launched its Hexa with minor updates inside out. The 2019 Tata Hexa comes with new dual-tone body paint, a new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that replaces the outgoing model’s 5.0-inch screen. The infotainment now comes with Android Auto compatibility. Apart from these changes, the new Tata Hexa also boasts a couple of subtle updates. Pricing of the Hexa starts from Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2019 Hexa boasts chrome surrounding around the AC vents. 16-inch Charcoal Grey alloy wheels add zing to the car. While there are no major updates introduced to the Tata Hexa, these subtle changes will certainly boost its appeal further. Designed following Impact styling language, the Tata Hexa looks a tough and appealing product. It has received pretty good response from the buyers.

While the updates available in the 2019 Tata Hexa certainly make the car more appealing, there could have been more. It is available at around Rs 20,000 premium pricing over the outgoing model. The powertrain of the new Hexa is unchanged. It carries the same 2.2-litre diesel motor available under the hood of the outgoing model.

The 2019 Tata Hexa’s engine churns out 154 bhp of peak power and 400 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox and an automatic unit as well. The base variant continues with the same engine generating 148 bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque. It gets a 5-speed manual gearbox for transmission duty.

Meanwhile, Tata Motors is gearing up to unveil its upcoming H7X SUV. This is the seven-seater version of the already available five-seater Harrier SUV. The seven-seater Tata Harrier is expected to go on sale in India sometime during mid-2019. So far, in the last couple of years, Tata Motors has shown remarkable progress with its new range of cars. Not only global-standard design, but they also offer upmarket and appealing features, impressive technology and good driveability as well.
