2019 Toyota Camry price unveiled at Rs 36.95 lakh, more comfort and fuel efficiency on offer

The new Toyota Camry price has been unveiled after a lot of anticipation, challenges Honda Accord hybrid

The 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid India launch has been one of the most awaited events in India. Now, the Toyota Camry price is out at Rs 36.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Toyota Camry Hybrid comes carrying a sportier styling, more comfort, and better fuel efficiency alongside improved driving dynamics.

Speaking about the design, the new Toyota Camry Hybrid comes with a completely revamped front fascia. It boasts large front grille, sleek chrome bits, projector headlamps and LED daytime running lights. Large alloy wheels, sleek LED taillights add zing to the hybrid sedan. Based on the Toyota Global New Architecture (TNGA), the all-new Camry Hybrid offers ten-fold advantage; handling, safety ride quality etc. It is longer, wider and comes with a bigger wheelbase as well.

Toyota Camry hybrid

Not only exterior, but the cabin of the new Toyota Camry hybrid is also equally appealing. It offers a bigger and better spacious cabin that ensures more comfort for the occupants. With already 11,425 units of the Camry Hybrid sold in India, Toyota is aiming for more pace. As the automaker says, the sedan’s cabin adopts a design focusing on freshness and usability of advanced technology.

There is a 10-inch HUD, 7-inch instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system inside the cabin. A 9-speaker JBL Dolby audio system enhances the appeal further. The new Camry Hybrid gets wireless Qi charging, triple-zone Nanoe air conditioner is among other features. Also, there is a moon roof, ten-way adjustable driver seat with memory function. So far, the 2019 Toyota Camry price seems totally justified considering the tech and features used.

Toyota Camry hybrid

The new Toyota Camry gets power from a 2.5-litre dual VVT-I four-cylinder petrol engine combined with an 88 kW electric motor. Combined, the hybrid powertrain generates 208 bhp of power and 221 Nm of torque output. For transmission, there is an e-CVT gearbox. It offers 23.27 kmpl of mileage.
