2018 Datsun Go and Go+ facelift launched in India

2018 Datsun Go and Go+ facelift come priced at Rs 3.29 lakh and Rs 3.83 lakh respectively.

2018 Datsun Go and Go+ facelift have been launched in India at price tag of Rs 3.29 lakh and Rs 3.83 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Both these cars are based on the same platform and share several elements. They come sporting some cosmetic updates compared to the respective pre-facelift models. The major updates are available at exterior and inside as well.

Speaking about the exterior change, the 2018 Datsun Go and Go+ facelift get vertically positioned LED daytime running lights at more sculpted bumpers that sport black accents. Also, the front grilles of both these two models get plenty of chrome garnishing and a revised look adding more style. Inside the cabin, the 2018 Datsun Go and Go+ facelift come with a brand-new touchscreen infotainment system, an updated dashboard enhancing style and premiumness significantly.

Datsun Go+ Facelift

Both the hatchback and the MPV come with two new paint schemes that are Amber Orange and Sandstone Brown. The facelift models run on 16-inch alloy wheels instead of 14-inch steel wheels that were available in the pre-facelift version. The gearbox console, door armrests and interior theme too changed. Speaking about safety features they get dual front airbags, ABS EBD, Brake Assist etc. So far, both the hatchback and the MPV have become attractive thanks to the updates introduced to them.

The 2018 Datsun Go and Go+ facelift come with same engine as the pre-facelift versions. A 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine works under the hood of both these models. This engine is good to kicks out 67 bhp of power output at 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque output at 4,000 rpm. Transmission duty is done by a 5-speed manual gearbox. While power and torque output remain same for both these models, the automaker says gear ratios have been changed to improve the acceleration and agility of the updated cars.
