Jeep India has now launched the diesel automatic variant of its popular Compass SUV in the Indian market. The price tag of Longitude automatic is Rs 4 lakh more than its manual counterpart. This is because the diesel engine is now BS6 compliant along with the addition of Jeep’s four-wheel-drive system. Apart from these major addition, a slew of equipment has also been added to the list for the Longitude variant. On the other hand, the Limited plus variant received a hike of only Rs 1.9 lakh over the manual variant. Due to the addition of these two diesel automatic variants, customer can choose them over the overpriced Trailhawk diesel automatic variants which were priced between Rs 26.80 lakh and 27.60 lakh ex-showroom.
