Tata Tiago, Tigor, and Nexon gets facelift along with BS6 engines, no BS6 diesel for Tiago and Tigor

Maruti Suzuki has already set a benchmark for BS6 vehicles as more than 70% of its entire lineup now follows BS6 emission norms. Tata Motors, though neither early nor late for the party has now announced that all of its passenger vehicle range including Tiago hatchback, Tigor compact Sedan, and Nexon compact SUV are up for pre-bookings at all the Tata dealers across the country. Tata Tiago BS6, Tata Tigor BS6, and Tata Nexon BS6 will be launched by the end of this month. All the three cars can be booked for a token amount of Rs 11,000 via any Tata dealership.

All new Tata Nexon BS6 get the design language similar to that of Nexon EV which was unveiled last month. The new Nexon features redesigned headlights which looks sharper than before. The grille and the air dams have also been altered and now look much more dynamic.

Representatives at Tata Motors said that the company is vigorously working towards a seamless transition of its entire lineup into BS6 norms. The company is delighted to announce the entire range of BS6 passenger vehicles at once. There is hope that new products from Tata will contribute towards a cleaner and greener India.

All new TATA TIGOR BS6 AutoIndica

Tata Tiago and Tigor have received similar changes and the grille is now more in line with the upcoming Altroz. Headlights have been toned down to look slimmer. The front bumper has given a newly designed look. Overall the front fascia has been refreshed as a mid-cycle facelift. All the three cars now get semi-digital instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer.

Coming to the engines, all the three cars will get upgraded BS6 petrol engines. However, the 1.05-litre diesel engines on the Tiago and Tigor will be discontinued. Nexon, on the other hand, will continue to offer a 1.5-litre BS6 diesel engine. It is not yet known whether the 1.5-litre diesel engine will come to the Tigor compact sedan in the Future.
