New Suzuki Jimny Siera pickup style concept and Land Rover Defender Kei-Car custom are based on the all-new Suzuki Jimny
The new Suzuki Jimny has already stolen hearts of many enthusiasts across the world. The Japanese automaker aims to encash the popularity of the SUV and bring more iterations of the car. For that what could be a better platform than the Tokyo Auto Salon. The new Suzuki Jimny based pickup concept and a customized version of the SUV have become the attention grabber at the auto show.
Christened as Suzuki Jimny Siera, the pickup concept looks unique despite being based on the standard 2019 Suzuki Jimny. With the wooden panels and eye-catching colour, its practicality is reflected through the single-cab cabin, raked suspension, compact payload deck. This could be a perfect replacement of the ageing Maruti Suzuki Gypsy soft-top.
The Jimny Siera pickup based on the new Suzuki Jimny gets skid plates, side scuff plates, off-roading worthy big tyres. It also comes with four LED spotting lamps mounted on the roof. With the LED clusters they ensure a strong illumination, enough for night adventure drives. Alongside that, the 4×4 drivetrain makes sure this pickup is ready to take on any off-roading challenge.
There is a customized version of the new Suzuki Jimny mimicking the Land Rover Defender showcased at Tokyo Auto Salon. The mild customization actually adds more appeal the already stylish SUV. There are a larger tweaked rectangular grille, roof-rack and a wide LED bar as well. So far, this custom car looks like a perfect mini version of the Land Rover Defender.
