Tata Harrier interior is loaded with a wide range of premium features and an appealing design
Tata Harrier has been making some strong buzz for last couple of weeks. The upcoming Tata flagship SUV has been teased several times online revealing the interior features. We have learnt from those images that it is going to be a very appealing and interesting cabin fully loaded with modern and premium features and technologies as well. The automaker revealed the SUV’s terrain response system in the latest video.
As we have already seen, the Tata Harrier will get a layered yet clean dashboard with a multifunction steering wheel, dual-pod instrument cluster with a digital MID at centre. The touchscreen infotainment system appears with a floating vibe and it looks bigger than the Tata Nexon. Also, there will be silver accents on the AC vents, faux wood trims on dashboard and door trims, premium leather upholstery etc.
Just like the Nexon and Hexa, there will be a rotary dial at the lower centre console, giving the driver option to select different driving modes according to the terrain. This is a similar feature that we see in the Land Rover models. There will be a premium JBL audio system as well. The Tata Harrier will arrive in two different seating layout options, five-seater and seven-seater. The SUV will offer generous space for sure ensuring a comfortable journey experience to the occupants.
Speaking about powertrain of the Tata Harrier, it will get a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine derived from Fiat’s Multijet II motor. This engine will come kicking out power in two different state of tunes, 138 bhp and 168 bhp for the five-seater and seven-seater variants respectively. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic unit as well.
