Rectangular LED taillights and powered split tailgate are the design elements visible at the back.
Based on the CLAR platform, the new version of this luxury SUV gets a fresh 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system inside the cabin. Its instrument cluster sports the latest version of iDrive. Head-up display, new Bower & Wilkins stereo system, speech recognition control, gesture control and a rear-seat entertainment system are there inside the cabin. It also comes with an optional third-row seating arrangement. It boasts a host of hi-tech systems and technologies to ensure a smooth riding experience.
The new X5 luxury SUV is available with one diesel engine and two petrol engine options. The diesel motor is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder unit churning out 261 bhp of power and 620 Nm of torque. There is a 3.0-litre turbocharged in-line six petrol engine generating 328 bhp of power and 500 Nm of torque. All the engines are mated to 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive system.
