Nissan will certainly keep the pricing of Kicks SUV competitive in order to challenge the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and Renault Captur. Nissan Kicks has been designed and developed keeping the emerging markets in focus. Interestingly, the India-spec Nissan Kicks will come bigger and more feature-packed compared to the global-spec model. It comes as part of Nissan’s aggressive product strategy. The brand promised it will focus on offering premium cars with advanced technologies and features. Nissan Kicks SUV follow the same strategy.
The SUV sports LED projector headlamps, chrome garnishing, skid plates, side scuff plates. Inside the cabin, it boasts an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Nissan Connect. Also, there is a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, cruise control, rain sensing wipers etc. So far, Nissan has left no stones unturned when it comes to the features of the Kicks SUV.
The Nissan Kicks SUV will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. It will get a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel motor as well. There will be a 5-speed manual gearbox doing the transmission duty. Initially, there won’t be any automatic gearbox. Considering the Nissan Kicks price, having no automatic gearbox is a negative point for this model. However, the automatic gearbox is expected to be introduced later.
