VW Polo Plus is even better than your current Polo

VW Polo Plus

The VW Polo Plus is based on sixth-generation Volkswagen Polo, but a bit longer

Volkswagen Polo is one of the best good looking cars in India, in my opinion. The hatchback is about to receive a completely new look once the sixth-generation Polo hits showrooms. Meanwhile, Volkswagen has showcased a new variant of the hatchback in China. Christened as VW Polo Plus, this looks bigger and better than the current Polo hatch.

The new Volkswagen Polo Plus comes with sharp headlamps with projector lamps and integrated LED daytime running lights. The front grille and lower air intake too appear sleek and slanted. Moving to the side profile, the car boasts new design 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels that come as more stylish and appealing. Moving to the back, the compact and stylish wraparound taillights add zing to the car.

The VW Polo Plus is basically an elongated version of the Polo. It measures 4,053 mm in length, 1,740 mm in width and 1,449 mm in height. Also, it has a wheelbase of 2,564 mm. This means the VW Polo Plus is larger than the model available on sale in India. Thanks to this, VW Polo Plus offers more space and comfort inside the cabin.

Speaking about its interior, the Polo Plus comes with a yellow accented dashboard, centre console and door panels. There is a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The infotainment system is coupled with a four speaker audio system. A sunroof adds premiumness in the car.

VW Polo Plus also is heavy with safety features. T boasts features like the rear camera, anti-lock braking system, EBD, ESP and multiple airbags. However, the automatic climate controls, adjustable neck restraints like features are absent in this car. So far, Polo Plus is an interesting car. It is mainly targeting the Chinese buyers but we hope to see it launching here as well.
