Mahindra Yearbook 2018 brings you the homegrown brand’s activity in the year in a nutshell

Mahindra was one of the few automakers in India with some big launches in its account in 2018. The homegrown automaker launched some much-awaited cars in the country in 2018. These include all-new models, facelift versions of the existing cars. The automaker brought us the Mahindra XUV500 facelift, Marazzo MPV and Alturas G4 premium SUV as well.

Mahindra Marazzo came with a unique styling inspired by a shark. The MPV challenges the Toyota Innova Crysta. This MPV comes priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 13.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Apart from the unique design, Mahindra Marazzo also boasts advanced technology. It comes with a new platform with interesting engine positioning, airline-like AC etc. No wonder, this takes an important place in the Mahindra Yearbook 2018.

Another big launch from the brand is the Mahindra Alturas G4. The premium SUV competes tough rivals Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour etc. Mahindra Alturas G4 is based on the new generation SsangYong Rexton. Positioned as a premium product, this is currently, Mahindra’s flagship car in India. The Alturas G4 is sold through a distinctive retail network, which is another USP of the brand.

Among other activities of the brand, the launch of the Mahindra XUV500 facelift needs a special mention. The erstwhile flagship SUV of the automaker came with refreshed styling and new features. A petrol automatic variant of the car was certainly enough to add colour to the lineup.

Apart from launching the above-mentioned models, Mahindra is also working on some new products that will launch soon. One of them is the SsangYong Tivoli based Mahindra XUV300. This Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza rivalling compact SUV will bring freshness to the portfolio. There will be an electric variant of the Mahindra KUV100 as well. Also, Mahindra tied up with Ford in order to develop new platforms, new EV technology etc.
