The MPV is ready to launch in India on September 3, 2018 and it will throw tough challenge to Tata Hexa and Toyota Innova Crysta. Shark inspired design comes from Pininfarina
Marazzo in Spanish means shark and Mahindra claims, the MPV has been designed with inspiration from shark’s silhouette. The 2018 Mahindra Marazzo MPV comes designed by the MNTAC and it took heavy inputs from iconic Italian design house Pininfarina. The shark inspired styling is visible through the grille, taillights, antenna etc. Inside the cabin as well, the MPV’s AC console comes inspired by shark’s spine.
Premium feature packed cabin
The 2018 Mahindra Marazzo comes with a premium cabin that boasts several features like large touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting and captain seats at middle row with armrests. The long AC vent runs from front to rear, while the three row seating layout ensures a comfortable experience for the occupants. The premiumness of the 2018 Mahindra Marazzo certainly puts it at par with Tata Hexa.
Most spacious Mahindra yet
2018 Mahindra Marazzo is going to be the biggest ever car from the brand, that makes it the most spacious Mahindra car. The MPV will certainly come longer and wider like the Hexa. Mahindra’s first monocoque MPV
2018 Mahindra Marazzo will be the brand’s first monocoque frame based MPV. This makes the car lightweight and rigid, ensuring better mileage and protection at the same time. Also, thanks to the light weight, the car will come with better handling and maneuverability. A rigid frame means it will offer great protection to the occupants with the tougher body.
All-new diesel engine
2018 Mahindra Marazzo comes with all-new indigenously developed diesel engine. The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine churns out 120 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. The diesel engine has been developed jointly by Mahindra and SsangYong. There will be a new 6-speed manual transmission mated to this engine.
