Mahindra Marazzo booking commences unofficially

A number of Mahindra dealerships have started receiving bookings for Marazzo at an amount of Rs 10,000.

Mahindra Marazzo is all set to launch in India on September 3, 2018. Ahead of the car’s launch here, some Mahindra dealerships have already started receiving bookings for the MPV at a token amount of Rs 10,000. The Mahindra Marazzo’s design has been inspired shark. Upon launch, the Mahindra Marazzo will challenge Toyota Innova Crysta. Internally codenamed as U321, the Mahindra Marazzo will be available in both 7 and 8-seater options.

Speaking about the design of Mahindra Marazzo, the MPV will come featuring an aggressive styling with cue from the other models already available in the lineup. Teaser images released by Mahindra have showed the aggressive front grille flanked by large projector headlamps and integrated LED daytime running lights. There will be bold bumper at front and rear. The taillight too comes with shark fin inspired design.

Inside the cabin, Mahindra Marazzo will get a spacious feel thanks to the captain seats and there will be a third-row seating arrangement as well, just like the Toyota Innova Crysta. It will have upmarket features like touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There will be a long air conditioning console that will do the duty for all the occupants. Ambient lighting, automatic climate control, advanced safety features, arm rests for middle row occupants to be there. Dual airbags, ABS with EBD will be standard accros all variants of this car.

Not only the exterior or interior, on the powertrain front too, Mahindra Marazzo will arrive pretty interesting thanks to its powerful 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine. This in-house built mHawk diesel engine will churn out 128 bhp of peak power and 300 Nm of peak torque. For transmission duty, there will be a 6-speed manual gearbox and at later stage, we might see the introduction of a 6-speed automatic unit as well. Expect it to be priced competitively.
