Hyundai Venue is the next big thing in the Indian market. The SUV is coming to India pioneering the connected car technology. Now, Hyundai Venue booking is open for the buyers across the country with an amount of Rs 21,000. The South Korean automaker is set to launch the SUV in India on May 21, 2019.

Hyundai has already garnered pretty good attention with the Venue SUV. It will lock horns with rivals like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon etc. Despite very tough competition from the rivals in this segment, Hyundai Venue will come with an edge over the other models. Thanks to the BlueLink connected car technology, the Venue will remain ahead of the other models.

As Hyundai has promised, the Venue will have a Vodafone-Idea eSIM onboard. It will connect the car’s system with the owner’s smartphone. Thanks to this connected car tech, owner of the Hyundai Venue will be able to make the car’s system perform several tasks remotely. No wonder, this will keep the SUV ahead of its rivals.

Hyundai Venue will be available in petrol and diesel options. There will be a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 118 bhp of power and 172 Nm of torque. On the other hand, there will be a 1.0-litre three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine as well. The diesel variant will get a 1.4-litre unit. This diesel motor kicks out around 88 bhp of power and 220 Nm of torque. Transmission options include 6-speed manual gearbox and a dual-clutch automatic gearbox as well.

So far, the Hyundai Venue will mark the beginning of a new era in the Indian car market. Connected car technologies have been an interesting subject across the world and with this model, India will enter the era finally. Expect it to lead the way for many such connected cars in the country.
