Tata Tiago NRG has grabbed attention of many buyers within short span after launch in India and this crossover has fetched 3,000 bookings within 30 days of its arrival. Introduced on September 12, the Tata Tiago NRG is based on the stylish Tata Tiago hatchback. Competing with Ford Freestyle, the Tata Tiago NRG comes with a beefy appearance that makes it more luring to the customers who seek trendy style and bit sportiness without hurting practicality.
The automaker launched this car to boost the appeal of the Tiago hatchback, one of its bestselling models. Interestingly, August 2018 saw the best sales performance of Tiago at 9,277 units, with most of the number attributing to the top-spec XZ trim. Now, with the Tiago NRG too, Tata Motors is continuing the same success story. The brand hopes to see even higher sales number during this festive season.
The Tata Tiago NRG comes retaining the basic silhouette of the Tiago, while the little bits of accessories add zing to the crossover. The faux brushed aluminium skid plates at front and rear, the black cladding, new design alloy wheels, black ORVMs and door handles are the distinctive styling elements visible in this car. Inside the car as well, the Tata Tiago NRG sports a very stylish and sporty appeal thanks to the colour theme and features.
An 180 mm of ground clearance ensures practicality of the crossover. The Tata Tiago NRG is mechanically same as the standard Tata Tiago. Available in same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine and a 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel motor options, the Tiago NRG churns out unchanged power and torque outputs.
